Another time perhaps.Lots of other choices on the menu. Served with gnocchi and broccoli rabe, it was wonderful. We waddled out without room for dessert, which were offered on a tray, and all looked irresistible.but, we did indeed resist. the Veal Misto is pou nded thin, and wrapped with mozzarella cheese, pesto, and peppers, coated in panko and deep fried. The mussels are plump and juicy, and the sauce I could have finished with a straw. We had the veal parmesan and the veal Misto for our mains. Between the bread and the appetizers, we were almost stuffed. Delicious. We started with the caprese, and the mussels. Four different types of rolls, cheese, garlic, onion, served with a garlic spread and an olive tapenade. We over-ordered, but were happily stuffed at night's end.The warm from the oven bread is dangerously good. She came back often to check on our meal, and was not overbearing. And, the food was absolutely terrific. The service was prompt, efficient, friendly. Great spite the fact that it is in a small strip center on Del Prado, once inside, you transported to big city dining. Still, we appreciate you dining with us, and we hope we'll get another opportunity to impress you more.Best regards,Jan and Markġ0 Things to Do in Fort Myers That You Shouldn't Missįirst time here, and I came with high expectations. As you experienced with your Italian Manhattan, we're always happy to make things right. We also realize that people have different tastes, and perhaps our entrees would have been enjoyed by someone else. While we are happy you enjoyed our atmosphere and friendly service, we really wish you had gotten our attention so that we could have rectified any issues with your entrees. Had she asked soon after we were served I probably would have said something. The truth for us was that by the time we were asked about our dinner, we had finished eating and really didn't want anything else. I said it was okay and that I didn't want anything else.I've read other reviews and noted the owner's response saying the diners should mention any problems they have while in the restaurant. We said they were fine, but she noticed I hadn't eaten much and asked me about it. When our server picked up our plates, she asked how our dinners were. There were three pieces of chicken, and I ate about half of one of them and none of the spaghetti. I also love capers and found very few which was a disappointment. However, the bottom of the plate had a large amount of broth which may have been considered to be a sauce, but it was very thin and under the chicken and not very tasty at that. It came in an oval plate with a side of spaghetti on one side. He was disappointed in the dish, because he didn't think the cream sauce was very good and said that the fettuccini was overcooked. He noted that the menu said there was a cream sauce, not an Alfredo sauce, but he ordered it anyway, because he likes cream sauces, too. We realize that mistakes happen, and she was apologetic about forgetting. Now for the reason we were disappointed. To her credit our server eventually realized this and brought the rolls. The salads arrived and were fine, but there were no rolls to accompany the salad. Our server told us she would bring garlic rolls with our salads. Again, very good.We placed our entrée orders. At the end of the dinner, she also comped my drink. I told her about the taste, and she talked to the bartender who sent out some additional bourbon and fruit which helped a lot. Soon afterward, our server asked me how I liked the drink. However, as I had several sips of my drink I told my husband that it had a strange taste I couldn't identify, but I would drink it. I had an Italian Manhattan, because I was curious how it would taste. She explained that she was training someone who would be helping her. Our server came quickly and took our drink order. We were impressed with the decor and the friendliness with which we were greeted and shown to our table. My husband and I recently went to Bianca's for dinner having heard that is a good place to eat.
